Dear friends
I was just searching the forum the other day trying to find reference to some plants we had discussed some time back, and in re-reading old posts I realised what a wonderful diary the forum is of everyday events - plant- and non-plant related. Never really having kept diary before, I would never have such a detailed account of the past couple of years without this forum. I think that is very precious! I was also struck by the huge amount of information we have all exchanged - this has been a tremendous source of learning about all kinds of things.

warm rosy thoughts to you all and may it long continue :)

Maribel,

I am glad you wrote this - I have recently been thinking very much the same things! Random musings while doing housework the other day made me think about diary-writing (goodness knows why!) and it occurred to me that sharing my garden and other thoughts, happenings and interests with my rose-friends serves the purpose for me (I am not given to deep reflection on my life's happenings - but my garden is another matter :D ).

warm wishes to all
Rachel

this must be Zeeland-to-Zeeland telepathy :)
here's to reluctant (rose-loving) diary writers!

In regards to the PB forums:- I hardly open a rose book anymore as there is so much rose wisdom with a click of a mouse. Perhaps we should all get together and write a best seller rose book!!

I like reading back on forums, looking at old posts and the hurdles that one has come up against and overcome. In the last nearly two years we have certainly created a lovely friendly resource here and we all thank you for being part of it and making it what it is!
