I know, most know her or have her, but it still is a very charming rose :)

Britta,

I truly want this rose! I will probably have to wait because I need to carve out more lawn along the other side of the house for her. Thanks for the pictures.

Britta,

I thank you for your photos - with all the many beautiful lush overwhelming roses out there, this remains one of my absolute favourites. I can't wait for my one to make growth next season. I have treasured each bloom she has made this year!

Britta,
a big THANK YOU from me too for posting the lovely 'Cornelia' photos. Also one of my favourite roses and very interesting for me to see the flowers on your pics. I have three plants and the flowers on them show somewhat more salmon and apricot colour tones, nearly no pink. Perhaps this is influenced by the soil?

My three 'Cornelia' cultivars all are planted to climb the supports of our garden pavilion, one is in full sun on the SW corner and has to compete with 'Tausendschön' ('Thousand Beauties') for space. This one nearly died after planting and this is why I got 2 more plants to replace it but planted these on the north wall. Thankfully I didn't pull out the believed to be dead 'Cornelia' because the rose came to life again after a few months and does very well ever since. The two plants on the north wall also do very well despite being grown under the eaves of the roof and in rather shady conditions. 'Cornelia' also grows rather vigorous here, easily reaches a height of 3 m/approx. 10 ft within 3 years if not pruned back.

greetings
Hannes

Hi.

I bought Cornelia today, so this was nice to see. :D

Hannes thanks for good information on Cornelia, then I will give her plenty of space to grow in. :)
