Chelsea 09

Hi Folks,

I've been neglecting you I'm afraid but do feel bad about it. sad

We've been very pleased to be busy as usual at the nursery and over the website despite the economic troubles.
The lead-up to Chelsea this year has also been quite hectic as we wish to make an extra spectacular display, to celebrate our 20th year of retail clematis sales! big_smile

There will be several new clematis on display including 2 of our own breeding. One is named after my Grandfather 'Geoffery Tolver' and the other is called 'Best Wishes' and adds to the 'Gift' collection of clematis. To see more of the new clematis visit our website:

Kind regards to you all, smile
Peter

Re: Chelsea 09

Hello Peter,

Any chance of a reply to a query I posted on the 29/04/2009. This query relates to how I should treat a number of clematis plants that I have purchased from Thorncroft.

These plants were delivered by EU Gold delivery. I have planted them in 6 inch
diameter,  approximately 8 inch deep, pots. They are putting on fresh foliage and seem to be quite healthy. Should I leave in them pots for a further period before planting them in the garden?

Many thanks,

Jimmy

Re: Chelsea 09

Thank you so much folks for your wishes! big_smile

I have passed it onto the team at the nursery and they are very pleased.
We've been so busy I didn't even had time to tell you about the result myself!
Plants are looking really good this year once again and it seems that gardening is in fashion this year. smile
Hope you are all enjoying the summer weather.

Peter
