Garden & Lunch Tour

The Garden and Lunch Tour is available Monday to Friday from June until the end of August – This offer gives you the chance to combine the summer garden tour with lunch!

Garden & Lunch Tour – £15.00 per person (min 20 people)


This tour is quite extensive listed below is the proposed itinerary


11.30am  - Upon your arrival you will be met by a member of our team who will brief you on the layout of the nursery advising you where to meet for the beginning of the tour, you will then have some time to stretch your legs and get a feel for the place, perhaps enjoy a coffee in our bistro?

12.00pm – Your full guided tour will begin, one of our experts will walk you around our extensive three acre gardens pointing out particular roses of interest, giving you some practical  tips on how to get the best from the roses in your own garden at the same time giving you an insight in to the history behind Peter Beales Roses. The tour will then complete with a practical demonstration and time for any questions to be answered.

1.00pm – Your mouth watering two course lunch will then be served by the Sweet Briars dedicated staff in our beautiful licensed marquee set amongst the roses.

2.30pm – A chance for you to walk around the gardens at your own leisure giving yourself time to wander around the Sweet Briar shop where you will find a varied range of gifts and gardening products to help you to get the most from your own gardens!

 

'Flavours of East Anglia'

Traditional Norfolk Ploughman's Lunch

Two Locally made Norfolk Cheeses - 'Norfolk Dapple'  (firm texture and a full flavour which has won Silver & Bronze medals in the British Cheese Awards) and 'Binham Blue' (a soft veined cheese which is creamy, yet tangy and is more like Gorgonzola than Stilton) - served with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, peppers, Norfolk spiced plum chutney, pickled onions and freshly made bread and butter.

Dessert

Choose from: 

Sweet Briar Sundae

Locally made Vanilla Ice-Cream drizzled with Rose Syrup topped with cream and Florentine fan wafer.

Or

Strawberries and Cream

East Anglian Strawberries served with cream.

Tea & Coffee

(Locally produced alcoholic or soft drinks will be available to purchase from the bar and morning tea or coffee can be pre-booked and served in the marquee for an additional charge.)
