(Species) 'Eglantine Rose', 'Common Sweet Briar' Foliage scented of apple. Quite thorney and dense in habit. Flowers soft pink and single. A most useful hedging rose.

(Damask) ‘Rosa damascena versicolor’ Blush white flowers, striped or mottled with pink. Needs very good soil to do well. More a collector's piece than of real garden merit.
