PROCUMBENT (GROUND COVERING ROSES)

Procumbent (Ground Covering Roses) A group of roses with growth habits that are broader than tall. Useful for underplanting in shrubberies, for trailing down banks and a variety of other roles. The smaller varieties can be grown to good effect in tubs or hollowed out tree stumps etc. Also, several make good climbing plants for small areas of wall or trellis.
