(Hybrid Bracteata) ‘Baby Mermaid’ Brought to the UK from America by Peter Beales. Single blooms are soft creamy yellow, almost perfect, if somewhat smaller, replicas of its well known parent, ‘Mermaid’, with which it also shares characteristic hooked thorns. May be grown as a procumbent shrub but probably best in this category.
