Peter Beales Roses are world leaders in Classic Roses with over 22 gold medals from the prestigious RHS, Chelsea Flower Show.

Our beautiful two acre display gardens are conveniently located just a quarter of a mile off the A11 at Attleborough and are a must see for any garden enthusiast. Since the first roses were planted in 1983 the gardens have always been an integral part of the nursery, with visitors coming from all over the world to view our roses. Specialising in the preservation of old fashioned roses, our gardens provide you with a chance to see unique, historic, rare and contemporary roses growing in unison with other complementary plants.

St Albns Walkway

We have over recent years spent considerable time redeveloping sections of the gardens, always looking to improve and enhance wherever possible and last year saw the arrival of the ‘St Albans Walkway’. An impressive ironwork structure, that comprises of three arched walkways that join together at the centre of a magnificent six metre gazebo. The specifically chosen cultivars planted along the walkway are now maturing and the display is set to be a magnificent one this summer.

Bridge

This year (2015), we are concentrating on a very special section of the garden that we are dedicating to both Peter and Joan. ‘Peter’s Place’ is a celebration garden that we hope will encapsulate Peter’s legacy. Many of the roses used within the planting scheme have a connection to them both, ranging from cultivars from Peter’s species collection to rare and unique roses they sourced and saved from extinction. This section also includes some of the many roses they bred and introduced over the years and of course some of their favourites like ‘Cuisse de Nymph’. All have a story to tell and we hope that this special area will tell that story.

There is also an excellent licensed Bistro on site where you can enjoy a meal and a glass of wine along with a Garden Centre where you can stock up on gardening essentials, luxury gifts and of course, lots of roses too.

There are hundreds of container roses available during the summer or you can choose to order for winter delivery. Admission is free and we are open daily 9-5, Sundays and Bank Holidays 10-4

Group Tours and Talks are available on request.
