Planting of 'The Friendship of Strangers' at Strangers' Hall, Norwich, Norfolk

Richard once again had the pleasure of attending a planting of one our newly launched roses 'The Friendship of Strangers' at Strangers' Hall, Norwich in Norfolk, at a garden party on the 13th June 2011 to celebrate The Friends of Norwich Museums 90th Anniversary.

The beautiful climbing rose was formally planted by the President of The Friends Mr Richard Jewson, the Lord Lieutenant for Norfolk and the winner of 'Name the Rose Competition' Mrs Christine Peach.

Mr Richard Jewson with Mrs Christine Peach with 'Friendship of Strangers' - This gorgeous semi-double climbing rose has peach buds that open to creamy lemon in colour then fades to white flowers. It has a light perfume, is healthy and is repeat flowering.
