New Rose introductions 2022 - 'Oxford Physic Rose', 'Rachel's Rose' & 'Loyal Companion'

In May 2022 we were delighted to launch three exciting new rose varieties at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
Oxford Physic Rose
Introduced in celebration of the Oxford Botanic Garden's 400th anniversary, we were both honoured and delighted to be involved in their celebrations, as the University of Oxford Botanic Garden and Arboretum is the UK’s oldest botanic garden and one of the oldest in the world.
During press day at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, 'Oxford Physic Rose' was officially launched by Professor Simon Hiscock, Director of Oxford Botanic Garden and Arboretum. Professor Hiscock was also delighted to show the rose to Rachel de Thame prior to her filming the 'Oxford Physic Rose' for the BBC.

Rachel's Joy
The third rose introduced by us at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2022 was 'Rachel's Joy'.
From high centred buds to ‘peony-like’ full blooms, ‘Rachel’s Joy’ is an elegant large-flowered, soft peachy-pink shrub rose with a sweet subtle fragrance and is a joy to behold!
Named in loving memory of Rachel Flood, a former director of Peter Beales Roses and Vice President of the World Federation of Roses.
Loyal Companion
'Loyal Companion' was another one of our fabulous new rose introductions and was shortlisted for RHS Plant of the Year.
This gorgeous floribunda rose produces clusters of semi-double blooms that start as apricot buds, opening initially to peach blooms, then slowly fading to soft pink, before fading to almost white with age. The fragrant blooms flower all summer long and well into the autumn.
