What is a container rose?

Our container roses are potted with specially prepared compost during the winter months, into 4 litre pots. They are usually available for delivery throughout the year. We ask that they are not planted out into your garden until late May, to allow a root ball to form. It is worth noting though that availability of container roses is at its highest in late spring and early summer.
