When should I plant my container rose?

Technically container roses can be planted at any time of year, however, we strongly recommend leaving any roses purchased early in the year in their pots until late-May. This is because our roses are containerised during the winter and the new fibrous roots which will be developing within the pot may not have had a chance to bind with the soil and could be at risk of being disturbed should they be removed from the container before late-May.
