There can be no better way of viewing roses and companion plants, than from our two-acre display gardens.

At Peter Beales we have carefully put together a range of specially tailored tours and refreshment packages which are available for coach parties and group bookings. These tours are led by one of our dedicated team of experts and offers an interesting and informative look at not only our gardens but also the history behind our roses.

SEASONAL GARDEN TOUR FOR GROUPS - AVAILABLE FROM TODAY!

Our Seasonal Garden Tours are available throughout the year, Monday to Friday. Pre-booking required. Minimum 15 people. Please allow at least 1 hour. 2024 tour price £8.50 per person.

Led by one of our highly knowledgeable Rosarians, your group will be guided around our beautiful two acre display gardens, pointing out particular roses of interest, adapted for the time of year you visit; including cultivars from our extensive Rosa species (wild roses) collection. The tour completes with a practical cultivation demonstration and a chance for any rose related questions to be answered.

 

TEAS AND TOURS FOR GROUPS - PRE-BOOK TODAY FOR JUNE ONWARDS

Teas and Tours are available from June to September, Monday to Friday, starting at either 10.30am or 2.30pm. Pre-booking required. Minimum 15 people. Please allow at least 1 1/2 hours. 2024 tour price £11.00 per person.

From June to September our ‘Seasonal Tour’ can be upgraded to include filter coffee or tea and a slice of Victoria Sponge, which is served upon arrival, whilst one of our knowledgeable Rosarians gives a practical demonstration. A full guided tour around our picturesque gardens follows.

 

GARDEN AND LUNCH TOUR FOR GROUPS - PRE-BOOK TODAY FOR JUNE ONWARDS

Garden and Lunch Tours for Groups are available from June to September with an 11am start, Monday to Friday. Pre-booking required. Minimum 15 people. Please allow at least 2 1/2 hours. 2024 tour price £26.95 per person.

If your group is looking for a longer visit during the summer months, why not combine the ‘Seasonal Tour’ with a mouth-watering two course set lunch served within our beautiful marquee? This offer includes a full guided tour, but also gives your party time to relax and lunch within the gardens.

New this year, is our ‘Cream Tea & Tour’ and who can resist a scrumptious cream tea? This is an upgrade to our ‘Tea & Tour’ and is served within our marquee. This offer includes a full guided tour before the delicious cream tea.
