Compact, semi-evergreen shrub with dark green leaves. Rose-like, waxy golden-yellow flowers, which are slightly fragrant, appear from July to September on reddish, twiggy stems. Ht.1.2mt.(4ft.). Grows on most soils but best in partial shade with some shelter from cold winds. Good ground-cover plant or as an informal hedge.

Evergreen
Low spreading, semi-evergreen shrub with striking green, cream and pink variegated leaves. Deep yellow, cup-shaped flowers from July to October, on red stems. Ht.0.3mt.(14'). Grows in sun or partial shade, on moist, well-drained soil. Best if protected from cold winds. Good ground cover plant.
Evergreen shrub with glossy, dark grteen leaves that are billiant red when young. Round heads of ivory flowers appear April and May. Ht.6mt.(20ft.). Frost hardy. Best in full sun or partial shade, infertile, well-drained soil. Good for hedges or topiary. Plant against a warm wall in cold areas.
