Compact, evergreen shrub with distinctively viened dark green leaves. Flat heads of tubular, white flowers in May produce metallic turquoise-blue fruit in autumn. Ht.1.5mt.(5ft.). Grow in full sun or partial shade on moist, well-drained soil. Tolerates deep shade and chalky conditions. good for ground cover, front of shrub borders or in containers.
Viburnum sargentii Onondaga (Sargent Viburnum)
Upright then rounded deciduous shrub bearing maroon young leaves that go greener with age. Dark maroon buds open to pink tinged, creamy-white flowers with purple anthers during May. Ht.3mt.(10ft.). Has sparse red fruit in autumn. Grow in full sun or part shade and moist, well-drained, acidic soil. Good for shrub borders or specimen plantings.
