Compact, low-growing, deciduous shrub bearing dark green leaves on plum-tinted shoots. Masses of fragrant, trumpet-shaped, white flowers with red throats. May to June. Ht.50cm.(20in.). Leaves become plum tinted during summer. Grow in sun and moist, well-drained soil. Good for front of borders.
