Acacia pravissima (Ovens Wattle)

Evergreen, large shrub or small tree with drooping branches, covered in spiny, false leaves. Clusters of scented. bright yellow flowers smother the branches in early spring. Ht.8mt.(25ft.). Needs full sun in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Frost hardy. Best grown in a warm position with shelter or in a container as a multi-stemmed specimen. Drought tolerant.

Grow in full sun and moist, well-drained soil. Deciduous. Drought tolerant but needs shelter from extreme cold. Good for bees and butterflies. Useful in borders or containers.
