Evergreen, conical tree or large shrub with aromatic, glossy, dark green leaves. Flowers small, greenish-yellow in clusters. March to April. Ht.12mt.(38ft.). Black berries after female flowers. Grow in sun or part shade and fertile, moist, well-drained soil with shelter from cold winds. Good for borders, containers, topiary and cooking.
Semi-evergreen or deciduous, open, upright and tender shrub with leaves of three dark blue-green leaflets. Upright, terminal racemes of pea-like, vanilla-scented, bright yellow flowers emerge from hairy buds May and June. Ht.2.5mt.(8ft.). Pendant green seed pods form after flowers August to September. Best grown in full sun and well-drained soil. Grow against a warm wall and protect from cold winds.

Rounded, evergreen shrub bearing silvery grey-green leaves with bright yellow, daisy-like flowers. July to October. Grow in sun and well drained soil. Good for courtyards, mediterranean gardens and borders. May need winter protection in some areas.
