Grow in sun or part shade and fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Can withstand salty aspects. May need some frost protection. Good for mediterranean type gardens.

Similar to it's parent Knautia Macedonica, but with it's disc shaped flowers carried on shorter stems. Rich plum crimson pincushion like flowers bloom freely on a round mound throughout Summer. Green oblong foliage and easy to grow.
