Beautiful, deciduous shrub with bronze-purple young leaves that turn dark green in summer then golden-purple in autumn. Small, pink flowers are followed by striking pearly-violet, berries in autumn onwards. Ht.180cm.(6ft.). Grows in sun or dappled shade on fertile, well-drained soil.Tolerates alkaline conditions. Brightens borders. Good for flower arrangements.
Callicarpa dichotoma 'Issai'

Rounded, deciduous shrub with arching stems. Clusters of small pink to lavender flowers along stems in summer followed by vivid lilac-purple berries September to October. Best grown in sun but will tolerate some shade.
