Ht.20mt.(65ft.). Has insignificant red flowers. Fallen leaves have distinctive smell of burnt toffee. Grow in sun or partial shade on moist, well-drained soil. Best if sheltered from cold winds. Good specimen plant.

Spectacular specimen tree especially when grown next to ponds or streams.
