A magnificent plant for the back of a border. It has large fleshy leaves and in late Summer bears enormous panicles of honey scented white flowers. Full sun/ part shade.

Evergreen, rhizomatous perennial forming mounds of rounded, kidney-shaped, deep green leaves. Abundant spikes of bell-shaped, dark violet-blue flowers. March to May. Ht.25cm.(10in.). Grow in part to full shade and moist, well-drained soil. Good for woodland plantings, front of shady borders, rock gardens and peat beds.
