Evergreen, rhizomatous perennial forming mounds of rounded, kidney-shaped, deep green leaves. Abundant spikes of bell-shaped, dark violet-blue flowers. March to May. Ht.25cm.(10in.). Grow in part to full shade and moist, well-drained soil. Good for woodland plantings, front of shady borders, rock gardens and peat beds.

An evergreen perennial with bright variegated foliage- emerging with dark green edges, maturing to golden and softening to cream. Violet-blue flowers in spring. Full sun/ shade in a moist, well drained soil. Excellent for low maintenance ground cover to brighten up a dull area.
