A striking variety forming a mound of attractive toothed narrow green leaves- silver between the veins. Beautiful foliage. The upright stems bear handsome yellow flowers. An adaptable groundcover plant; great to brighten up shady areas or for full sun. Non-invasive like some varieties.

Evergreen, rhizomatous perennial forming mounds of rounded, kidney-shaped, deep green leaves. Abundant spikes of bell-shaped, dark violet-blue flowers. March to May. Ht.25cm.(10in.). Grow in part to full shade and moist, well-drained soil. Good for woodland plantings, front of shady borders, rock gardens and peat beds.
