Cyclamen hederifolium Ivy Ice

Perennial with large, flattened tubers, and variable, triangular to heart-shaped, patterned, dark green leaves. Flowers, sometimes scented, in shades of pink, rose or white. Mid and late autumn. Ht.13cm.(5in.). Grow in part shade and fertile, well-drained soil. Good for underplanting trees or shrubs. Mulch in areas of prolonged frost.

Tall, magnificent and very elegant clumps of slender, grey-green leaves. Arching stems bear ephemeral oat-like, yellow plumes. June to July. Ht.2mt.(6ft.). Evergreen. Grow in sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Very good for adding height to mixed borders or as a specimen plant. Excellent for autumn/winter interest.

Evergreen, rhizomatous perennial forming mounds of rounded, kidney-shaped, deep green leaves. Abundant spikes of bell-shaped, dark violet-blue flowers. March to May. Ht.25cm.(10in.). Grow in part to full shade and moist, well-drained soil. Good for woodland plantings, front of shady borders, rock gardens and peat beds.
