Rosettes of spoon-shaped leaves splashed with gold. Elegant, upright wiry stems have loose panicles of small pink flowers with red and yellow dots. May to June. Ht.30cm.(1ft.). Grow in sun or part shade and moist, well-drained soil. Good for front of borders, rockeries and edging.

Evergreen palm with stout trunk and deeply lobed, palmate leaves. Arching sprays of pale yellow flowers. June. Ht.3m.(10ft.). Globose fruit after flowers on female plants. Grow in sun or part shade and fertile, moist, well-drained soil with shelter from cold winds. Hardy in most areas. Good for small gardens, specimen plant or container.
