Upright, evergreen shrub with shiny, wavy-edged, deep chocolate-purple leaves. Insignificant flowers in June. Best in full sun to part shade and moist, well-drained, slightly acid soil. Frost tender. Protect from cold winds. Good for containers.

Compact evergreen with large, toothed, deep green leaves. Masses of bright white flowers with purple mark at base of each petal and small green eye. June to August. Ht.40cm.(16in.). Grow in sun or part shade and well-drained soil. Good for front of borders, rock gardens and containers.

Compact, bushy, evergreen with shiny, finely serrated leaves on mahogany stems. A profusion of blue flowers with magenta centres. June to November. Ht.40cm.(1.5ft.). Grow in sun or part shade and moist, well-drained soil. Good for front of borders, rockeries and containers.
