Persicaria m. Red Dragon

An unusual, vigorous plant grown mainly for it's foliage. Plum purple leaves with maroon and green patterning and an upright, spreading habit. Clusters of small white flowers in late Summer. Sun/ part shade in a well drained soil.
Piptanthus nepalensis (Evergreen Laburnum)

Semi-evergreen or deciduous, open, upright and tender shrub with leaves of three dark blue-green leaflets. Upright, terminal racemes of pea-like, vanilla-scented, bright yellow flowers emerge from hairy buds May and June. Ht.2.5mt.(8ft.). Pendant green seed pods form after flowers August to September. Best grown in full sun and well-drained soil. Grow against a warm wall and protect from cold winds.
