Upright, bushy, evergreen shrub with peeling, reddish-brown and creamy-white bark, bearing aromatic, glossy, dark green leaves with creamy-yellow margins that are pink-tinged when young. Ht.4mt.(12ft.). Small white flowers produced from July to September giving rise to round, purple-black fruit autumn and winter. Frost tender. Best in full sun or partial shade on well-drained soil, with shelter from cold winds. Good in containers.

Compact, slow growing deciduous shrub with dark green leaves. Many clusters of fragrant, lavender-pink flowers. May to June. Ht.1.5mt.(5ft.). Grow in sun and fertile, well-drained, slightly alkaline soil. Good for borders, courtyards and butterflies.

Small, mounded, deciduous shrub bearing mid-green leaves that turn maroon in autumn. Small, single, fragrant, pale-purple flowers produced early spring and fade to almost white by early summer. Ht.1.5mt.(5ft.). Grow in full sun on fertile, well-drained neutral to slightly alkaline soil. Good for front of shrubbery, as a specimen or in the rock garden.
