Good clumps of large, rounded, glossy, dark mahogany leaves. Tall stems with clusters of star-like, dark orange flowers with dark centres. June to August. Ht.100cm.(3ft.). Grow in sun or shade and moist, fertile soil. Good for back of border or waterside, large containers and cutting.

Small, mounded, deciduous shrub bearing mid-green leaves that turn maroon in autumn. Small, single, fragrant, pale-purple flowers produced early spring and fade to almost white by early summer. Ht.1.5mt.(5ft.). Grow in full sun on fertile, well-drained neutral to slightly alkaline soil. Good for front of shrubbery, as a specimen or in the rock garden.
