Columnar, evergreen tree with golden-yellow, scale-like leaves and flaking, scaly bark. Bears small, spherical, female cones. Ht.2.5m.(8ft.). Grow in sun and well-drained soil with shelter from cold winds. Good for containers, Specimen plant and hedging.
Rosettes of silvery, woolly leaves with branched stems bearing vivid, velvety, magenta flowers. July to August. Ht.75cm.(2.5ft.). Grow in sun or part shade and fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Good for front of borders, coastal areas and as cut flower. Will readily self-seed.
Rosettes of grey-green leaves. Tall spikes of saucer-shaped, bold, coppery-orange flowers. June to September. Ht.90cm.(3ft.). Sourced from the original clone. Best in full sun and well-drained, poorish, alkaline soil. Good for rose borders.
