Rhizomatous plant producing compact rosettes of green leaves and elegant spikes of white, saucer-shaped flowers. July to August. Ht.30cm.(1ft.). Grows in sun or part shade and fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Flowers open from base upwards and are better in full sun. Good for bees and butterflies amd as cut flower.
Lysimachia punctata 'Alexander' (Loosestrife)

Vigorous, clump-forming plant with leaves edged cream and pink tinged in spring. Erect stems bear bowl-shaped, robust, clear yellow flowers. June to August. Ht.75cm.(2.5ft.). Grow in sun or part shade and fertile, moist, well-drained soil. Good for moist borders.
