Hydrangea

Deciduous, upright, open shrub with dark green leaves. Huge globes of tightly packed creamy-white, mainly sterile, flowers looking like giant snowballs from July to September. Ht. 2.5mt.(8ft.). Fully hardy. Flowerheads fade in autumn to pale lime, and leaves turn soft yellow. Grow in full sun or partial shade on fertile, moist, well drained soil. Very good specimen plant and flowerheads can be cut and dried.
