Hardy, shrubby perennials grown for their foliage and flowers. Usually with finely cut, deeply divided lance-shaped to oblong, aromatic, grey-green leaves. Panicles of small, tubular, blue flowers are produced in late summer and early autumn. Best grown in a mixed border.

    Rosettes of deeply cut, greyish-white foliage with a sage aroma and large panicles of violet-blue flowers. August to september. Ht.1.2mt.(4ft.). Deciduous sub shrub. Grow in sun and well-drained soil. Cut back hard in spring. Good for mixed borders.
