Parahebe
Evergreen or semi-evergreen subshrubs and perennials, with woody based stems, ovate and toothed, mid- to dark green or blue-green leaves, almost stalkless.
Grown for their erect racemes of small, saucer-shaped, usually white, pink, lilac or blue flowers, frequently with contrasting markings. Often mat-forming. Best in full sun and well-drained soil with protection from cold winds and frosts. Good for tumbling over walls or rocks, under shrubs or for gravel beds.
