(Moss) 'Mousseline'. Any criticism made of the Moss family of roses does not extend to this little charmer. With clusters of medium sized, creamy-pink, semi-double flowers with a strong perfume. It flowers from mid-June to October and benefits from lush foliage and tidy manageable growth. Its moss is green tinted pink, turning to russet on older shoots. Fulfiling a variety of roles from massed planting to an outdoor pot plant. Bred by Laffay.

(Shrub Rose) Unique to us in the UK. This delightful little shrub, is compact robust and rudely healthy. With clusters of almost perfect buttonhole-like blooms, the semi-double, ruby-red flowers open to reveal an eye-catching coronet of bright yellow anthers, that pollinating insects are instinctively drawn too. Tolerant of shade. Suitable to be planted in a pot, or as a hedge. Although lacking in perfume, this delightful little rose more than makes up for this shortcoming with its sheer beauty. Bred by Beales.

‘Flanders Rose’ was the brainchild of Wendy Howard, who is passionate about keeping the memories of fallen servicemen and women still in the forefront of people’s minds.
