    St. Luke’s Hospice provides free, expert care and support for people whose illnesses are no longer curable, as well as support to their family and carers. Working with the NHS and other healthcare professionals, the Hospice plays a crucial role in the provision of palliative and end-of-life care in South West Essex. The name ‘Pearl of St. Luke’s, was chosen as it has connotations with the traditional 30th anniversary gift of pearl colouring.
    'Pearl of St. Luke’s' has been made possible with the help of sponsor West and Coe, who are long-time supporters of the Hospice, and also boosted by a generous donation from local support group Stepping Forward.

    This exquisite addition to our Modern Classic Range, bears beautiful medium sized, fully double, heavily scented deep pink blooms, that are produced on a large, healthy robust bush. The mid-green foliage is healthy and glossy, growing to approximately 150cm in height and 120cm in width this rose is ideal for mass planting or equally as a specimen plant. If trained against an obelisk or pillar the rose is also pliable enough to grow as a small climber. Although best grown in full sun the rose will tolerate partial shade and can be effectively grown in a container with the correct soil base compost. Bred by Beales.
