    (Modern Shrub) Unique to us in the UK. Deep red, semi double flowers with occasional white stripes on younger petals. Strong growth, healthy foliage of good colour with average thorns. This makes an good shrub rose for the middle or back of the border, but could be grown as a small climber with support. If not deadheaded will produce ornamental hips. Bred by Beales.

    Named for the distinguished garden and Horticultural College in Enfield.
