    (Alba) 'Jacobite Rose' 'White Rose of York'. Beautiful very fragrant, rather muddled double blooms, which are white with creamy tinted centres. Complemented with leaden-blue green leaves. This rose sets good autumn fruit if left unprunned. An award winning hardy cultivar. Can be grown as a small climber and is suitable for group planting in woodland. Tolerant of poor soils and shade. Of unknown origin dating from 16th century or earlier.
