The repeat flowering blooms when fully open are often quartered and are complemented with large dark green leaves. Said to be the first of the Tea roses. Probably a vigorous bush at introduction but better grown as a climber on a short wall, where it can enjoy protection from the severest weather of winter. Can be grown as a shrub with support. Bred by Adam.

(Tea) An interesting combination of rich colours. Fully double blooms of yellow, orange, pink and reddish salmon - sounds vulgar, but is actually a very lovely, long flowering rose, with good foliage for a Tea. Suitable to be grown in a tub. Bred by Bongfiglioli.

This rose is a perfect alternative to Eglantyne which we no longer stock. A superb rose with large soft salmon pink, scented flowers. Dwarf and hardy. In common with others this rose was erroneously listed as Irene Watts but is now correct here.
