Deep, blood red, semi double flowers with white stripes on younger petals, subtle fragrance and strong growth. This makes an good shrub rose for the middle or back of the border, but could be grown as a small climber with support. Healthy foliage of good colour with average thorns. Named for the distinguished garden and Horticultural College in Enfield.
Will suit most soil types including poorer soils. Will grow best in a sunny or lightly shaded aspect. Repeat flowers throughout the summer: for best results keep well watered and feed throughout the summer with a propriety rose feed like 'Top Rose'. A mulch of well rotted manure will help conserve moisture and improve soil structure.
