(Hybrid Laevigata) Large, single papery flowers of silver-pink, with a touch of mauve giving a vaguely oriental look. A vigorous climber with angular branching shoots of darkish brown, liberally armed with hooked thorns. The foliage is dark green, glossy and healthy. Although it prefers a sunny position, it will tolerate sheltered shade. Bred by Geschwind/Schmidt.
