Container Roses

Over the years buying roses in containers has become increasingly popular due to the appeal of being able to achieve instant colour within your garden. Containerised roses are planted into 4lt pots during the winter months, whilst the roses are dormant, they are available at any time of year and are usually dispatched within 7-10 days. If a container rose is purchased in the spring, we recommend that it is left within it's pot until mid-summer to give the roots time to bind with the surrounding soil. Roses planted in the summer must be watered daily until they have had sufficient time for their roots to become established.

(Floribunda) Best of the Best 2010. 'Julia Child'. Large clusters of repeat flowering, butter yellow, fully double blooms with an unusual myrrh scent. This Award winning rose is very healthy and free flowering. An ideal specimen for the garden or for growing in a pot where space is limited. If blooms are cut they last well within an arrangement. Hardy and tolerant of poorer soils. Bred by Weeks Roses.

I took delivery of the rose Absolutely fabulous, that I ordered last year. I must say it looks absolutely fabulous!! Plenty of stems, loads of very long healthy looking roots. I can't wait until the summer to see how it performs. This has to be the best quality plant material i have ever received through the post. Chris H.
