Hybrid Teas

Hybrid Tea roses are easily recognised by their large flowers and pointed buds and are often what people first visualise when thinking about roses. Unlike Floribunda roses which produce clusters of flowers, Hybrid Tea roses tend to produce just a single flower on the end of each stem. Like many modern garden roses Hybrid Teas also have a long flowering period, from early summer until the first frosts of autumn and will benefit from annual pruning and regular feeding with a good rose fertilizer in early spring, early summer and fortnightly liquid feeds throughout the flowering period.

    (Hybrid Tea) Unique to us in the UK. Large, fully double, scented primrose yellow. Very free flowering, bushy but upright. Good for cutting. A first class bedding rose. Suitable for planting in a pot, is tolerant of poorer soils and is hardy. Bred by Beales.
    Introduced to comme morate the 900th anniversary of one of this country's most beautiful Cathedrals. Yellow is a colour much associated with the city of Norwich, so it is appropriate that this rose should be yellow.

    'We bought this rose for ourselves in Norwich and also for a gift for a relative in Sussex. We are both delighted with it. In both gardens, it is blooming for the third time this year.
