In Stock as Bare Root - Hedging - Good for Cut Flowers - Patio Roses

Patio roses are very easy to grow, low maintenance, and are ideal for smaller gardens, balconies, window boxes and container planting. As well as being perfect for growing in pots where space is limited, they are also very useful for defining edges of flower beds and borders.

Patio roses are compact, healthy and produce many clusters of flowers over a very long period. Not to be confused with the much smaller and less hardy miniature roses, most patio roses are in fact closer to dwarf floribundas but of smaller proportions and share much of their well-loved characteristics that make them so popular. Available in a wide variety of colours, there is bound to be a patio rose to fit every garden and outdoor living space. Caring for patio roses is quite simple, making sure that they are watered and liquid fed regularly during the growing season, but at the same time ensuring there is adequate drainage if growing in a pot so that they are not left sitting in water. Top tip – snip off any flowers which have gone over to encourage more flowers to be produced throughout the summer.
