(Rambler) Large showy clusters of small, semi-double, mauve flowers in mid-summer. A vigorous rambler, suitable to be grown up into trees. Bred by Beales.
A seedling of 'The Garland', with many of the good qualities to be found in its parent, discovered growing in the grounds at Mannington Hall, Norfolk by Lord Walpole and Martin Lowne.

(Multiflora Rambler) Double rosette flowers of rich mauve, on a healthy plant with light green foliage and shoots, fairly thornless. Tolerant of poorer soils and shade. Bred by Igoult.
